Book Reviews

As a kid I identified strongly with Charlie Brown, and not just because we share a last name.  Among other things, that blockhead sure knows how to read a book.

As a writer, I believe it's an author's job to make sure the basics of good writing are apparent. As a reader, I think it's my job to be absorbed by the result. There are plenty of clubs and critics ready to break a piece of work down into bits and pieces. When a book catches me in that wordy nerdy place, I just walk around for days after living its world in my head. These reviews are about those worlds.
